Many of you viewers come on the blog and hardly get a chance to speak to us, the team. So we thought a good way would be for you to all have our individual emails. You can contact us to talk, ask questions about buses or the blog. Also if you could put the subject as "All Over London" that would be great.
Route 208 operates between Lewisham and Orpington, Perry Hall Road via Bromley. Originally deals on royal caribbean cruises created on the 4th September 1984. Route 208 used to operate between Surrey Docks and Orpington Station, replacing former route 94 between Bromley and Orpington. At this time Route 208 was operated out of Catford Garage with 15 Routemasters. But that did not remain for too long as in 1984 the route was converted to a full Leyland Titan operation. Sooner or later in 1986 the route had a part allocation at Bromley Garage too as well as that the route was withdrawn between deals on royal caribbean cruises Surrey Docks and Lewisham decreasing the Peak Vehicle Requirement to 13 buses.
Not much has happened with the 208, spending much of the last decade running in 2 overlapping sections: deals on royal caribbean cruises Lewisham to Bromley Common and Catford to Orpington. In August 2010 this practice was discontinued as a result of Route 320 being extended to Catford. The 208 now runs the full route.
In July 2012. Route 208 was once again retained by Stagecoach London but this time gained a new batch of buses. These were once again the most famous buses in the UK - and Stagecoach's deals on royal caribbean cruises preferred choice. The E40D/Enviro 400.
I apologise deals on royal caribbean cruises for the short post but I have to say there isn't that much to talk about on Route 208. I hope you enjoy the images and hopefully the last three months of the year bring us excitement. Especially with the B5LH Hybrids underway from Metroline which should be fun as it will be their first batch!
We welcome your feedback, as it gives us the opportunity to make changes that will bring about an improved posts. However, if you misuse this facility, we will be forced to contact your Internet Service Provider, so be careful!
