Did anyone get in on the action with the whole Facebook budget rental car coupons thing? I mean, everyone pretty much has their own profile on the social networking budget rental car coupons site, but did anyone invest in the company before it s explosion!
Back in 2009 Bono s investment firm aptly named Elevation Partners, bought a $210 million (£128m) stake in Facebook. With the site now valued at an estimated $65bn, Bono s slice of pie is now worth around $975m (£595m), a profit of around $765m or £464m!
What makes things even better for Bono, but worse for us as we read this, is the fact that U2 s recent 360 world tour broke the record for the biggest and most profitable tour ever, making a gross record of $736 million (£447m), eclipsing the $558 previously set by The Rolling Stones.
This band is not about money they are about passion. They use their talent to reach out and make the world a better place. No one will ever know how many have been inspired by their music and benevolence.
Ever since it was announced that Karen Gillan would be leaving the show, rumors have been flying aro BBC America To Air The Original Planet Earth The Making of Planet Earth In Celebration of Earth Day
