While he’s not in the top 10 in earnings, Randall Hutchison will enter this week with tons of confid

DAHLONEGA Typically, the NGA Pro Golf Tour doles out Web.com Tour and PGA TOUR exemptions over a series of events, but this week's NGA TOUR Classic at Achasta Golf Club in Dahlonega discount air travel ticket presented by Ace Wiring Systems will feature a one-and-done scenario.
The top finishing NGA TOUR member will earn a Web.com Tour event exemption into the Knoxville News Sentinel Open, scheduled for Aug. 23–26. And with so much on the line, it should come as no surprise that a full-field of heavy hitters are in Dahlonega for the inaugural event.
Seven of the top-10 money earners on the NGA TOUR this season have filed entries for the event, along with a gaggle of former PGA TOUR and Web.com Tour members and the best up-and-coming talent in the country.
Brandon Brown of Shelbyville, Ky., enters the event No. 1 on the money list and is having one of his best seasons on the NGA TOUR. The former Eastern Kentucky standout has one victory and six other top-5 finishes in 10 starts. The solid play has earned Brown a start in the PGA TOUR's Reno-Tahoe Open, courtesy of an NGA TOUR event exemption, and put him in prime position to secure NGA TOUR Player of Year honors.
David Skinns of Lincoln, England, comes into Achasta as the only two-time winner on the NGA TOUR this season and second on the money list. In addition to the victories, the former University of Tennessee All-American has five top-15 finishes in nine 2012 starts.
Tyson Alexander, Mark Silvers and Chas Narramore could thrust themselves into the POY battle with a second victory this week. Alexander, a former University of Florida linkster from Gainesville, Fla., won the 2012 Killearn Country Club Classic and is currently fourth on the NGA TOUR money list; Silvers, a former University of South Carolina golfer, earned his first career victory in the Avoca Classic and sits fifth on the money list; and Narramore, a former Middle
The field will also feature 2012 NGA TOUR winners Ken Looper and Hudson Johnson. Looper, a former LSU star from Mandeville, La., won the 2012 Golden Hills Golf and Turf Classic, while Johnson, a former Vanderbilt standout from Longview, Texas, won the season-opening Members Only Shootout.
While he's not in the top 10 in earnings, Randall Hutchison will enter this week with tons of confidence. Last week, the former Michigan State standout Monday qualified for the PGA TOUR's John Deere Classic and picked up at T45 finish. Hutchison posted three sub-70 rounds discount air travel ticket and finished 8-under par in only his second start on the PGA TOUR.
Also scheduled to play are: Erick Justesen, who played in the 2012 PGA Tour's Northern Trust Open; Danny Ellis, a former PGA Tour regular; TJ Bordeaux, a 2011-12 BWS winner and four-time discount air travel ticket Big West All-Conference selection at the University of Pacific; Lion Kim, a 2011-12 BWS winner and two-time All-American selection discount air travel ticket from the University of Michigan; Oscar Stark, a former NAIA National Champion and 2011 All-Nicklaus team member from Oklahoma discount air travel ticket Christian; and Patrick Wilkes-Krier, the NGA's 2011 Most Improved Player.
While this will be the first time the NGA TOUR has competed at Achasta, many in the field will be familiar with the Georgia gem. The Jack Nicklaus-designed course has served as a qualifying location for the PGA TOUR, US Open and Web.com Tour, providing a perfect backdrop for the next generation of golfing greats.
