Cinco de Mayo in Myrtle Beach is going to be extra special this year since it falls on a Saturday! Burro Loco in Myrtle Beach near Broadway at the Beach is known to throw one of the largest Cinco de Mayo celebrations on the Grand Strand and this year is no exception. In addition to their annual BurroFest celebration, they will be holding an event that morning called  Burro Loco Stache Dash 2012. The event will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Burro Loco. The event is a  5k trail run where participants are encouraged to wear their finest mustaches and sombreros. Burro Loco Stache Dash is for a good cause with  100% of the proceeds going to benefit  Backpack Buddies , a Myrtle Beach based program that provides over 2,000 area children travel best deals in need with food. Registration fee is $20 for adults travel best deals 18 and older and $15 for anyone under the age of 18. This fee includes a stache, official t-shirt, food and beverage. In addition, the fee will get you a wristband for complimentary beverages from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the BurroFest which will follow the race.
