why trains were the best way to travel in the 1800s Please for the love of GOD do not purchase anything of substantial value off Craigslist why trains were the best way to travel in the 1800s except why trains were the best way to travel in the 1800s in person. Read the other threads on here about doing this before you even think about proceeding. You can get some great deals off Craigslist, but proceed why trains were the best way to travel in the 1800s with extreme prejudice!
Usually these scams are always in this same format, or something similar to it. The e-mail address is usually a gmail account and in a different font. And like you said, it is all one file (like a picture). Steer clear and flag them as often as possible!
Hey, I have a gmail account that I use almost exclusively, and I'm not a scammer. Actually I use gmail because I've changed providers a few times and it was easier to get my non-tech relatives to switch once rather than try and learn a new email address.
Most of the spam fishing emails and scams do go back to gmail right now though. That doesn't mean your a crook, it just means gmail is the hot and popular free email domain. Don't worry, the cons will switch to the next popular one before to long, gmails had a good run theres bound to be a new one around the corner.
I try to operate under the assumption that if you buy a diamond ring for a dime. You will end up with a ring that isn't worth ten cents. If you refuse to try to get something for nothing you will be very hard to scam.
Ah yes, when Dony isn't living in Ottawa Kansas.... (which why trains were the best way to travel in the 1800s is where he posted on the KC Craigslist, I, too asked about the bike, got the same generic response, so I emailed back and said NO THANKS. why trains were the best way to travel in the 1800s He sent me a message why trains were the best way to travel in the 1800s back saying : Here is how it works if you have never used Autotrader.
You send me your full name and your shipping address so I can initiate why trains were the best way to travel in the 1800s the transaction.Autotrader contacts you with further details regarding the payment and shipping process. You submit the payment to Autotrader, Autotrader confirms the payment and asks me to release the shipment.I ship the bike which should be at your door within why trains were the best way to travel in the 1800s 5 business days. You have a 3 days inspection period before you confirm the deal and Autotrader forwards the payment to me or you cancel the deal and you get your money back and return the bike free of charge.
On the other hand I can ship the bike knowing Autotrader has your money and you won't disappear with my bike. We are both covered.Sorry for the long emails I have tried to touch all bases. why trains were the best way to travel in the 1800s Persistent little bugger.
Ok I know that there are plenty of scams on Craig s list however every once in while you get luck as I did. Guy posts a 83 goldwing for 500 dollars and in good condition. I m into old bikes so I go to take a look at it. It was a beautiful fully dressed wing with just about every chrome option you can put on it. The bike need need a new battery, and ran some carb work but it runs beautiful now and I m really enjoying it. This makes my third 80 vintage wing. So there are some good deals, you just need to be careful.
^ One thing that keeps me from thinking that is a scam, he left a cell # to deal with him in person. If he is willing to meet with you, has title in hand and the bike passes you inspection, sometimes you just get lucky and find a good deal.
Sometimes you do step in ---- but if it seems to good to be true. On the other hand I know where their is a bike for sale that cost 15000 in parts to build going for 6000 or best offer. It is a real deal because hes building why trains were the best way to travel in the 1800s a house. But it is a homemade custom so it could be free and I wouldn't buy it. Too much of a pain to get it one the road.
This is an OLD thread so no reason to dwell on it long but the details posted SCREAM scam.....including having ONLY a cell number because it's hard for an individual to get a reverse listing on that and find out who it really belongs to.
yea, re-affirming what everyone else said its a scam . those people are losers who are looking to gain something for nothing and makes it harder for legitimate people looking why trains were the best way to travel in the 1800s to sell their bikes on c.l makes me want to do a burnout on their face. imo only local face to face deals/ within my reasonable driving range to look at the bike. whether it be thousands or mere 20 bucks i would look at it first to be sure im not getting screwed. no shipping or out of state deals, escrow why trains were the best way to travel in the 1800s or moneybookers its all b.s there were plenty of clues do not to that deal, not meeting in person is the biggest red flag ever. be careful when purchasing stuff on c.l no matter what it is, some people just want to screw others!
I have learned through personal experience that there are scam artists all over the internet, in all industries. This is why I would never consider buying a thousand-dollar (or more) piece of equipment without looking at it in person (even from one of those legitimate-looking internet companies that purport to offer free liftgate service). Falling victim to a scam artist when buying a two-dollar pack of pencils is one thing; falling victim to a scam artist when buying a $3000 motorcycle is quite another.
