Christian Education and Publications (CEP), a denominational committee of the Presbyterian Church in America, is planning a fifth international PCA women's conference October 7-9, 2011 at the Cobb Galleria Center which is located just north of Atlanta.
Jane Patete (Coordinator of Women's Ministries) says, "Our prayer for the conference is that sisters in Christ will come together in worshipful praise to the God of Grace, acknowledging Him in every aspect of our lives, desiring to be further equipped to live to the praise of His glory, and anticipating the joys of heaven."
In 2006, CEP hosted 4,000 women, including teenage daughters, downtown los angeles commercial office space for a denomination-wide women's conference. For many women, the Cobb Galleria will bring wonderful memories of true fellowship with sisters from across the PCA. In 1989, CEP hosted the first major PCA conference for women at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel which is now connected to the Cobb Galleria. In 1999, having outgrown the hotel, 4,000 PCA women gathered at the Cobb Galleria.
Offered to PCA women, ages 13 years and up, the 2011 conference's theme is "a grand and glorious look at the full-orbed grace of God in our lives."
