When my family and I headed down to Naples this summer we stayed at the  Naples Inn on Fifth  at night; but during the day, we went to the Naples Zoo . It used to be Jungle Larrys heathrow hotels way back when I was a kid, so it was really neat to see how it had grown. The first thing that caught my kids eyes when we arrived were the poisonous dart frogs in the terrariums in the lobby. We could have stayed there all day, but then we would have missed so much! Above is the first animal we met inside. He s a sloth, adn this lucky fella gets to hang around all day! They had a little show and brought out a ton of animals before we walked around the whole zoo.
We sat right in the front row and were able to encounter all the species up close! My kids were in total awe because they were close enough to reach right out and touch them. Mason loves butterflies so we had to stop along the trails several times to check them out. The flowers were beautiful so I kept getting side tracked with taking pictures.
In 2011, these coyotes were discovered motherless at a closed historic hotel in Florida. That summer, Naples Zoo was selected heathrow hotels as the home for the orphan coyotes.
